The main characters

 

Kitranna Surana

Originally a mage of the Circle, then a Gray Warden, and now beholden to no one and nothing except for her loved ones, Kitranna is impulsive, brash and fierce. She has a fierce temper and an intimidating manner.

Raised in the Circle, Kitranna never knew her birth family, and resents this deeply. She has a deep mistrust for authorities and institutions, feeling loyalty mostly to the people she personally knows and, failing that, other mages.

Disliking vulnerability, both physically and emotionally, Kitranna puts up an aggressive front to the world. She only truly lets her guard down around her loved ones, which come to include Morrigan, and eventually their son, Kieran.

Kitranna is the central character of The Moth's Wing and of Fracture. On the run from the Chantry, is absent from The Falling Leviathan, Separation, and Dissolution. She next reappears in The Golden Light, as an ally to Arethin Lavellan and the Alliance of Southern Thedas.

Lady Seeker Nicolene

The Lady Seeker during Divine Beatrix's time, Nicolene is a paranoid, clever woman.
 

Seeker Lambert van Reeves

Nicolene's right hand man, Lambert is as suspicious as Nicolene is, if not more so.
 

Seeker Cassandra Pentaghast

Cassandra is loyal to the Seekers and the Divine, a brash, faithful woman who is not given to the suspicions her superiors are.
 

Anders

An apostate from the Ferelden Circle, Anders has been on the run from Templars on and off for years.

 

Oghren

One-time husband of Paragon Branka, the dwarven warrior Oghren sought new purpose with Kitranna and the Gray Wardens. At the start of Fracture, he has come to Vigil's Keep, specifically to join the Grey Warden contingent there.
 

Nathaniel Howe

Son of the Howe family, Nathaniel is intelligent and honorable. He isn't always certain of the motivations of his new allies, but he is very loyal to them.
 

Alistair Theirin

Witty, reliable Alistair is Kitranna's first companion, and one of four Gray Wardens in all Ferelden. The son of King Maric and the mage Fiona, Alistair marries Queen Anora. During Fracture, he, Anora, and Fiona are all trying to help Ferelden get back on its feet after the end of the Blight.

 

Queen Anora

Intelligent, calculating Anora is the widow of King Caelan and is now the current wife of his brother, Alistair.
 

Fiona

Strong-willed, intelligent, and principled, Fiona has been many things in her life.

Justice

A spirit now housed in the dead body of a Gray Warden, Justice is a unique entity. He has an unusual outlook on the world and is intrigued by what he sees of it.
 

Sigrun

A former member of the Legion of the Dead, Sigrun maintains an upbeat attitude despite her tumultuous past. She enjoys life and is fascinated by everything the surface has to offer.
 

Velanna Limdurlahn

Velanna is proud, fierce, and has a fiery temper. She is a powerful mage but she often acts without thinking, her passions running high at all times. When she joins Kitranna, it is first to find her sister, but she also finds friendship and understanding among the Wardens, particularly Sigrun.

Wynne

Wise and learned Wynne knew Kitranna in the Circle. Even-tempered and moderate, Wynne frequently finds herself uncertain of how to work with Kitranna.

 

Morrigan

Wild Morrigan, daughter of Flemeth, is a highly accomplished and powerful mage.
